Sandtheater On Tour - Hans Zimmer - Master of film music

A visual tribute to a musical giant

Hans Zimmer is undoubtedly one of the most important film composers of our time. His epic soundscapes from “Gladiator,” “Inception,” “The Lion King,” and “Interstellar” have made cinema history. Now his unforgettable melodies can be experienced live – in a breathtaking symbiosis of music and sand art!

The sand artists, known for their spectacular live sand painting shows and celebrated on stages in Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, and Frankfurt, present a unique live experience with “Hans Zimmer – Master of Film Music.” While Hans Zimmer's music plays, magical sand pictures are created on the screen – drawn live in front of the audience by the masters of sand art. Every line in the sand tells a story, every image merges with the music to create an emotional journey through time and Zimmer's cinematic universe.

Directed by Dimitrij Sacharow, founder of the Sandtheater, each performance becomes a cinematic meditation on heroes, dreams, desires, and adventures. A show that touches the soul.

Experience the masterpieces of a genius – told in sand.

Led by the best generation of sand artists Natalya Netselya, Alla Denisova, Olga Lysytska, and Lina Li, they have created over 30 full-length shows and have already thrilled over 5 million viewers. Their best-known productions include literary masterpieces such as “The Little Prince,” “A Christmas Carol,” and ‘Krabat’ (narrated by Ronny Krappmann, known as the voice of “BRISANT” on ARD), Richard Wagner's “Ring Without Words” as a live performance with the Brandenburg State Orchestra, as well as the cult fairy tale “Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella,” which was brought to life by actor and audiobook narrator Oliver Kube.

Director and producer Dimitrij Sacharow, founder of the Sandtheater, has been staging these fascinating narrative formats in sand in a poetic, touching, and unforgettable way since 2015.
