A sports-themed evening in Limbach-Oberfrohna featuring outstanding nominees

On April 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., all sports enthusiasts are once again invited to the Sports Ball at the City Hall. Guests can look forward to a fantastic program, featuring a wide range of nominations and, of course, the presentation of the 2025 Sportsman of the Year awards for the city of Limbach-Oberfrohna.  National sports events will also take place in L.-O. in 2026! The nominations received impressively demonstrate how diverse, dedicated, and passionate sports are in our city. Whether on the field, in the gym, in the water, or as volunteers—behind every nomination lies a very personal story of commitment, discipline, and team spirit. From young talents to experienced top performers, from strong teams to the “good souls” behind the scenes: They all make sports in Limbach-Oberfrohna what it is, and everyone can be proud of that—which is a reason to celebrate on April 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Limbach-Oberfrohna City Hall. After an entertaining official portion of the program, the party will get underway and it’ll be time to hit the dance floor.
