On August 28, musician Daniel Schmidgunst will present the songs of “The Boss” at Wolkenburg Castle as part of the Kultursommer festival – advance ticket sales have begun!

Bruce Springsteen is one of the greats of international rock music. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and over 130 million records sold make the Oscar winner and 20-time Grammy Award winner one of the most successful musicians in the world. His marathon concerts with his E Street Band are legendary.

Songwriter Daniel Schmidgunst explores the stories behind Springsteen's songs and his status as a rock icon in his program “Thunder Road.” Following the great success and numerous rave reviews of last year's sold-out concert in the Kulturkeller, he is once again embarking on a musical journey of discovery into the world of “The Boss.” He and his two musicians, Marie Birkholz (sax) and Chris Lewis (key), immerse themselves in the moving story of a rock phenomenon and show in an atmospherically dense concert format what has made Springsteen's songs so timeless and touching for decades.
