As last year, you can look forward to another family-friendly festival at the Waldenburg summer pool in 2026. Doors open at 12 noon. Throughout the day, you can enjoy a varied program of entertainment and children's activities, including various disciplines where you can put your skills to the test.

As is customary at Weimar concerts, we will try to ensure that there is an area for children and people with physical disabilities. This area will be designated by security staff on the day of the event.

Bruce Springsteen is one of the greats of international rock music. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and over 130 million records sold make the Oscar winner and 20-time Grammy Award winner one of the most successful musicians in the world. His marathon concerts with his E Street Band are legendary.

Songwriter Daniel Schmidgunst explores the stories behind Springsteen's songs and his status as a rock icon in his program “Thunder Road.” Following the great success and numerous rave reviews of last year's sold-out concert in the Kulturkeller, he is once again embarking on a musical journey of discovery into the world of “The Boss.” He and his two musicians, Marie Birkholz (sax) and Chris Lewis (key), immerse themselves in the moving story of a rock phenomenon and show in an atmospherically dense concert format what has made Springsteen's songs so timeless and touching for decades.

“With my Bruce Springsteen evening, I want to present the musical world of this great rock star to the audience in a small concert setting. The program has something for everyone: fans of ‘The Boss’ can revel with me, and I'm happy to take interested newcomers along and show them what fascinates me so much about this musician,” says Daniel Schmidgunst.

The new program by Hessian comedian Maddin Schneider is like a surprise Sunday menu: it contains delicious comedy treats in various variations to suit every taste!

As usual, Maddin pulls out all the stops with his facial expressions, adding a special flavor to stand-up routines, texts from his books, and Hessian swing songs. Of course, his main goal is to make his audience laugh hysterically. But he also serves up some profound messages and insights in a lighthearted Hessian dialect.
